May 2019 activities

The meeting began with a full house, and amiable conversation whilst everyone worked away at various pieces.  One of the things we don’t often mention here is the amazing morning teas we have, this month thanks go to Ryl for bringing yet another superb spread!

    Hi Reddy Arts,

Love your Activity News. Little question tho’, what is a MiM challenge? Love looking at what you are doing and to your next Exhibition.

    Cheers Joan Morrison

  2. Hi Joan!
So glad you enjoy our blog. The MiM challenge is a challenge amongst 8 quilt and textile artists who “Met in Melbourne” a few years ago at the Gala Dinner at AQC (Australasian Quilt Convention) which is held annually. Two of our Reddy Arts Textile Group happen to be members of MiM, who challenge themselves each year to a piece, based on the number 8 – Brenda is working on an octopus inspired diptych.
